SAGINAW, Texas — November 5, 2026 — Silver Streak Senior Solutions announced today that its Fighting Senior Fraud through Education initiative has earned a Bronze Anthem Award in Community Outreach, Humanitarian Action & Services, in the 6th Annual Anthem Awards.
The Texas nonprofit provides fraud-prevention education through community workshops, large-print resources, and its PROVE IT™ method. The program helps seniors and families recognize warning signs, pause under pressure, and independently verify requests before acting.
“Every senior deserves to feel confident asking questions, hanging up the phone, and taking time to verify a story,” said Sherri Combs, founder and president of Silver Streak Senior Solutions. “We created this program to put practical tools in their hands before a crisis. This recognition gives us an opportunity to bring that education to more communities.”
Anthem Winners are selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. This year’s competition received more than 2,500 submissions from 43 countries.
“The work of social impact doesn’t pause when conditions get harder, and this year’s Anthem Winners proved it,” said Anthem Awards General Manager Patricia McLoughlin. “Facing new challenges, they kept building, kept organizing, and kept delivering for the people and causes they serve. They set a new standard for good, one defined as much by persistence as by results.”
